One of the most inspiring verses in the Bible is II Corinthians 12:8-10. Apostle Paul makes a very impressive statement about faith.
Apostle Paul said he pleaded with God several times to remove an infliction he suffered. I'm sure the infliction caused him a great deal of pain and anguish because he wouldn't have mentioned it in the Bible if it didn't. The infliction itself is not inspiring.
What's so inspiring is his great faith. He said "I take pleasure in infirmities... for Christ's sake." The Lord had told him that "His grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
If His grace is good enough for Paul than it's definitely good enough for you and I!
Please enjoy this poem written from one of my favorite Bible verses.
Thorn in the Side
“Indeed, I have found favor,
This very hour you shall be healed mind, body and soul.
Though you were afflicted your faith in Me never died,
this is the reason why I shall remove it from thy side.
All the pain, suffering, and torment I shall replace,
I do this because there is great strength in My grace.”
